I suggest you...

there needs to be a way to enter SEP-IRA contributions.

currently there is no way to. This can have a significant impact on taxes owed.

IRA's are a big deduction - it's difficult to account for our personal deductions in our business estimated taxes... it could be an addition to the 'tax settings' under the gear icon.

How are users to determine quarterly tax payments if they can't enter SEP-IRA contributions. Is QuickBooks Self-Employed meant only for sole proprietors who don't have retirement funds?

QB please help with this! We need to categorize retirement contributions - pre-tax ones, because that significantly affects our taxes owed. This is a normal part of every other business accounting system, but isn't available here. Can you please implement that feature immediately?

Anyone find a work-around while we're waiting for QB?

What do I have to do to get my SEP contribution in the system so that it effects my Estimate Taxes to be paid? Do I have to move up a version? I wish that were not the case please let me know of a way to do this

We really need a way to categorize SEP contributions, it's one of the biggest advantages of being an independent contractor!
