  1. Add Attachment Feature to Invoices.

    I shouldn't have to send my travel expense receipts in a separate email. I don't like the extra step in the invoicing process, nor do my clients appreciate two emails for a single invoice transaction.

  2. Invoice Partial Payment

    Thanks for adding Invoices to the Self Employed product. I'd really like to integrate more of my business w/ you. In order to do so, I need the ability to apply partial payments to invoices. Thanks!

  3. Invoice without having to send email

    The only way I can "invoice" inside of QBSE is by emailing it to them. I don't want to have to email them to invoice it. Reasons why:

    1) Sometimes I have to add notes or PO# to invoices. Since I can't easily/clearly add this information on the QBSE invoice, I often have to export as an PDF, add additional text in Adobe Reader or Apple Preview, and then email it to the client. This becomes a problem if I can only "invoice" in QBSE by sending an email. The client then gets multiple emails / invoices that don't have…

  4. Add expenses to invoices

    Horrible idea to remove "Add tracked expenses" without anything better in place. Having to manually add every single item that you need to bill back to a client makes this software damn near useless. This is really frustrating and disappointing.

  6. Change Payment Date

    You should allow for manual entry of date paid, as I sometimes get behind on my paperwork and would like to be able to list when the payment was ACTUALLY paid.

  7. Apply discounts to invoices

    When creating an invoice it would be cool if you were able to apply discounts to your charges. So if I wanted to apply a 20% off discount to one of my clients it would be cool to have that feature adjust your charge when applying discounts.

  9. Allow us to reorder invoice line items

    It would be clearer for our clients to review our invoices if we could organize the information by their logic - not necessarily the order we enter the data.

  10. Why no option for estimate/quotes

    50% of small business is sending a customer a quote on services. Need to be able to easily convert to an invoice.

  11. Invoice template

    We use an app called Joist to do our estimates and invoices, but would like to do it all through Quick Books. It would be nice to be able to send out estimates from this software so that I don't have to use more than one app.

  12. invoice options

    I would like the option of printing an invoice and not HAVING to email in order for the invoice to be "complete" and not just a draft. With some clients, I print the invoice and they pay me cash or write a check. I want to then be able to mark paid in my system. Better yet, I also want to be able to mark a bank deposit (check or cash from a client) as income from a client (or clients-multiple payments, 1 deposit) by entering an invoice number (s) and then the invoice (s) be automatically changed to "paid".

  14. Printing Invoices

    I would like the option to be able to print instead of send invoices as some of my customers do not use computers and therefore do not have an email address.

  16. Project title field

    Would be great to add a "PO field" or a "project title field", or something along those lines to the invoice input. Many times I invoice to a project number or a project name and it helps the people on the other end know what it is for etc. Right now its pretty non-specific.

    In summary, add a "Project Name or "Project PO" or similar input box to the invoice page so it can be even more useful.

  17. Invoice customization

    I'd like to see the Self Employed invoices have the same customization and functionality as the desktop or online versions of QB. Currently I can not customize invoices correctly for my industry.

  18. Invoice mark as paid

    I like to send my invoices as a pdf and not always through the portal. It'd be great if I could mark them as paid even if I don't send via email. Is there a way to do this?

  20. we would like to be able to do quotes/estimates

    We would like to use same program to sent quotes and invoices. that way when sending a quote for a construction job they get the same 'look' when they get the actual invoice to pay.
    even if there was a simple dropdown to right quote or estimate so they know this isn't a bill, yet.
