      • File attachments to invoices

        There should be an option to apply an attachment to the messages box on the invoice. You have the ability to attach a file to this suggestion box and not the invoices? come on now....

        • Add 'Cost of Goods Sold' Category for Self-Employed

          'Cost of Goods Sold' (COGS) Category is 100% necessary for ALL businesses who purchase goods & resell them. It's crucial to be able to report taxes accurately to the IRS, so they don't think we made more money than we actually did. Example: Your good was purchased for $100 by a customer, however, the business spent $80 on product, resulting in $20 profit. However, since Quick Books doesn't offer a 'Cost of Goods Sold' Category...it looks as though the business profited $100 even though we only profited $20...which will result in IRS coming after you because it will appear you…

          • 2 businesses under self-employed

            I run 1 business under my llc (rental property), and 2nd business (realtor) under my personal banking. I need self employeed quickbooks to be able to have more than 1 business.
            I still file 1 return, so the suggestion of filing 2 returns in not advantageous nor helpful!
            This would be a wonderful upgrade!

              • Assets and Depreciation

                Please add the ability to add assets to the business profile, like a rental home for example, and then integrate depreciation into the tax estimates to better understand estimated taxes. Thanks.

                      I would like the option of printing an invoice and not HAVING to email in order for the invoice to be "complete" and not just a draft. With some clients, I print the invoice and they pay me cash or write a check. I want to then be able to mark paid in my system. Better yet, I also want to be able to mark a bank deposit (check or cash from a client) as income from a client (or clients-multiple payments, 1 deposit) by entering an invoice number (s) and then the invoice (s) be automatically changed to "paid".

                            How can I connect my expenses to invoices without them reflecting on the actual invoice or charging the client. As in I build greenhouses. When I buy raw materials to build how do I reflect that receipt on the invoice for bookkeeping purposes but not have it reflect on the customers receipt?

                                  I am having a very hard time saving invoices. Spending precious time creating them, and then I cant save them but I'm also not ready to send them. Isn't that the point of creating drafts? So I can create them when I have time even if I can't send right away? Really, really disappointed and frustrated with this.

                                    the rules are very poorly applied. They seem to look for the specific string of the transaction description and should be permitted to instead use terms within the description. For example. "Payroll transaction for John" when I create the rule filter, it appears it is filtering for "Payroll transaction for John". I could have new employees coming and going. I dont want to make a rule for each of them. I want to create a rule for "Payroll" and apply the desired actions. Then I want this rule to always to run for all of my transactions that are currently…

                                      Please keep bank issues resolved. I constantly fight “bank issues” not allowing a proper connection which in turn puts me behind on reconciling my accounts.

                                          Simple to have total spending amounts / goals for the year per category. Mint already does this. Then watch your spending throughout the year vs. your planned spending and see the difference or how much you have left to spend.
